Milaidhoo Island Maldives is a boutique luxury resort in the UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to Hanifaru Bay. Its own coral reef is a protected area and noted as an outstanding snorkeling and diving site. The beautiful island, abundant with tropical greenery, is fringed by white soft deep sandy beaches and circled by a coral reef.
Offering barefoot informality, each of the spacious air-conditioned villas has its own private freshwater pool on the sundeck and opens up 180 degrees to allow the natural beauty of the island into the villa. All villas have ocean views. Custom-made furnishings and thoughtful designs are Maldivian inspired. An island host is on hand to ensure every detail of the stay is perfect, from arranging spa appointments and excursions to ensuring the private wine fridge in the villa is stocked with the guest's personal favorites.
There are three restaurants and two bars designed to appeal to the senses. The Milaidhoo Gourmet plan is a dine-around meal plan offering daily breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as international and premium brands of spirits, beers, wines and cocktails from our selection.
Guests can enjoy a 24-hour island host, personalized welcome gift, champagne bottle and use of private airport lounge on arrival and departure.
The over-water spa has four treatment suites and complimentary yoga and meditation classes take place in the open air over-water pavillion. Sports activities include sailing, catamarans, kayaks, a 24-hour fitness center and yacht trips. The property also provides dolphin cruises, whale shark spotting, manta ray watching, conservation activities with the resident marine biologist, fishing, diving, snorkeling, and an open-air infinity pool.
Milaidhoo is reached by a scenic 30-minute seaplane ride from Male International Airport. Airport transfers are provided by the hotel at an extra charge.

+: This was our second stay at this property with a few years between… and Milaidhoo is even better now than when it first opened. The staff were exceptional. The food was impeccable, wonderfully highlighting Maldivian cuisine amongst a range of international dishes. The wine list holds its own against any Michelin starred restaurant, featuring the best wines of the new and old world. The resort reef is an absolute pleasure to snorkel or dive, and it’s within a few meters of the beach! Unlike many other reefs in SE Asia and the Pacific, there is no pollution here.We had some very heavy downpours during our stay over NYE but the staff accommodated, adapted and moved the events under cover without missing a beat. Simply exceptional.

+: I loved the fact that everyone in milaidhoo gave a very personalized feeling at every given moment. Truly a place for couples to visit. The 24 hour butler - Yenny for our entire stay was exceptional.
-: After 6 , the property felt too dark due to less installation of lights everywhere and in the room. There should be more vegetarian option in the breakfast menu.
